Influenced by his mother, who grew up in a pottery studio in Shigaraki (pottery region in Shiga Prefecture), Ryoma Tsuji entered the world of pottery.
When encountering “Komon”- simple repeating pattern designs- at a specialty school in Tajimi City (Gifu Prefecture), he was captivated by their intricate beauty and resolved to master ceramic painting. Each stroke is freehand, creating delicate and gentle works.
